35:10. ਤਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਉਂ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਉਂ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੁਕਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਸਗੋਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਉਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਸਨੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਉਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਰੱਖਿਆ

35:10. God said to him, "Your name is Jacob, but your name will no longer be called Jacob; Israel will be your name." So God named him Israel.

35:10. saying, "Your name is Jacob, but you will not be called Jacob any longer. From now on your name will be Israel." So God renamed him Israel.

35:10. And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel.
