16:23. ਅਤੇ ਅਹੀਥੋਫ਼ਲ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਜੇਹੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਸੀ ਭਈ ਜਾਣੀਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਪਾਈ ਸੀ ਸੋ ਅਹੀਥੋਫ਼ਲ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਾਊਦ ਅਤੇ ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਐਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਸੀ।।

16:23. In those days Ahithophel's advice was considered as valuable as a prophetic revelation. Both David and Absalom highly regarded the advice of Ahithophel.

16:23. Absalom followed Ahithophel's advice, just as David had done. For every word Ahithophel spoke seemed as wise as though it had come directly from the mouth of God.

16:23. And the counsel of Ahithophel, which he gave in those days, was as if a man inquired at the oracle of God: so was all the counsel of Ahithophel both with David and with Absalom.

16:23. Now in those days the counsel that Ahithophel gave was as if one consulted the word of God; so was all the counsel of Ahithophel esteemed, both by David and by Absalom.

16:23. And the counsel of Ahithophel, which he counselled in those days, [was] as if a man had enquired at the oracle of God: so [was] all the counsel of Ahithophel both with David and with Absalom.

16:23. So in those days, Ahithophel's advice was very important. Both David and Absalom accepted his advice as though it were the word of God.
