4:4. ਫੇਰ ਅਸਤਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਹੇਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਖੁਸਰਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਏਹ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ। ਤਦ ਮਲਕਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੁੱਖੀ ਹੋਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਭੇਜੇ ਕਿ ਮਾਰਦਕਈ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਾਏ ਜਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਤੱਪੜ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਲਾਹਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਬੂਲ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ

4:4. When Esther's female attendants and her eunuchs came and informed her about Mordecai's behavior, the queen was overcome with anguish. Although she sent garments for Mordecai to put on so that he could remove his sackcloth, he would not accept them.

4:4. When Queen Esther's maids and eunuchs came and told her about Mordecai, she was deeply distressed. She sent clothing to him to replace the burlap, but he refused it.

4:4. And Esthers maidens and her chamberlains came and told it her; and the queen was exceedingly grieved: and she sent raiment to clothe Mordecai, and to take his sackcloth from off him; but he received it not.
