131:2. ਨਿਸੰਗ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਠੰਡਾ ਤੇ ਚੁੱਪ ਕਰਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਦੁੱਧ ਛੁਡਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਬਾਲਕ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੈ, ਹਾਂ, ਦੁੱਧ ਛੁਡਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਬਾਲਕ ਵਾਂਙੁ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੈ।

131:2. Indeed I am composed and quiet, like a young child carried by its mother; I am content like the young child I carry.

131:2. Instead, I have calmed and quieted myself, like a weaned child who no longer cries for its mother's milk. Yes, like a weaned child is my soul within me.

131:2. Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul; Like a weaned child with his mother, Like a weaned child is my soul within me.

131:2. But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me.

131:2. Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul [is] even as a weaned child.

131:2. But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a child quieted at its mother's breast; like a child that is quieted is my soul.

131:2. Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul; like a weaned child with his mother, my soul is with me like a weaned child.

131:2. Have I not compared, and kept silent my soul, As a weaned one by its mother? As a weaned one by me [is] my soul.

131:2. But I am calm and quiet, like a child content in its mother's arms.
