40:12. ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਅਣਗਿਣਤ ਬੁਰਿਆਈਆਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਘੇਰਾ ਪਾ ਲਿਆ, ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਬਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਣ ਫੜਿਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਉਠਾ ਸੱਕਦਾ। ਓਹ ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਿਰ ਦੇ ਵਾਲਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵਧ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਦਿਲ ਥੋਥਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।

40:12. For innumerable dangers surround me. My sins overtake me so I am unable to see; they outnumber the hairs of my head so my strength fails me.

40:12. For troubles surround me-- too many to count! My sins pile up so high I can't see my way out. They outnumber the hairs on my head. I have lost all courage.

40:12. For innumerable evils have compassed me about; Mine iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to look up; They are more than the hairs of my head; And my heart hath failed me.

40:12. For evils have encompassed me beyond number; my iniquities have overtaken me, and I cannot see; they are more than the hairs of my head; my heart fails me.

40:12. For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.

40:12. For evils have encompassed me without number; my iniquities have overtaken me, till I cannot see; they are more than the hairs of my head; my heart fails me.
