16:12. ਐਉਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਜਦ ਮੋਆਬ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਜਦ ਉਹ ਉੱਚੇ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਥੱਕ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਵਿੱਤ੍ਰ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਵੇਗਾ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਪਰਬਲ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।।

16:12. When the Moabites plead with all their might at their high places, and enter their temples to pray, their prayers will be ineffective!

16:12. The people of Moab will worship at their pagan shrines, but it will do them no good. They will cry to the gods in their temples, but no one will be able to save them.

16:12. And it shall come to pass, when Moab presenteth himself, when he wearieth himself upon the high place, and shall come to his sanctuary to pray, that he shall not prevail.

16:12. And when Moab presents himself, when he wearies himself on the high place, when he comes to his sanctuary to pray, he will not prevail.
