9:18. ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਤਾਂ ਅੱਗ ਵਾਂਙੁ ਬਲਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਕੰਡੇ ਤੇ ਕੰਡਿਆਲੇ ਭਸਮ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਬਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਝੰਗੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੜਕ ਉੱਠਦੀ ਹੈ, ਓਹ ਧੂੰਏਂ ਦੇ ਗੂੜ੍ਹੇ ਬੱਦਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਤਾਹਾਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

9:18. For evil burned like a fire, it consumed thorns and briers; it burned up the thickets of the forest, and they went up in smoke.

9:18. This wickedness is like a brushfire. It burns not only briers and thorns but also sets the forests ablaze. Its burning sends up clouds of smoke.

9:18. For wickedness burneth as the fire; it devoureth the briers and thorns; yea, it kindleth in the thickets of the forest, and they roll upward in a column of smoke.

9:18. For wickedness burns like a fire; it consumes briers and thorns; it kindles the thickets of the forest, and they roll upward in a column of smoke.

9:18. That evil was like a small fire that started among the weeds and thorns and then spread to the larger bushes in the forest. Finally, it became a giant fire, and everything went up in smoke.

9:18. For wickedness burns as the fire; it devours the briers and thorns; yes, it kindles in the thickets of the forest, and they roll upward in a column of smoke.
