15:10. ਹਾਇ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ! ਹੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਅੰਮਾ ਕਿ ਤੈਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜਣਿਆ ਜੋ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਸ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਲੜਾਕਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਅਰ ਇੱਕ ਫਸਾਦੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਹਾਂ। ਨਾ ਮੈਂ ਉਧਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਨਾ ਮੈਂ ਉਧਾਰ ਲਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਫਿਟਕਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ!

15:10. I said, "Oh, mother, how I regret that you ever gave birth to me! I am always starting arguments and quarrels with the people of this land. I have not lent money to anyone and I have not borrowed from anyone. Yet all of these people are treating me with contempt."

15:10. Then I said, "What sorrow is mine, my mother. Oh, that I had died at birth! I am hated everywhere I go. I am neither a lender who threatens to foreclose nor a borrower who refuses to pay-- yet they all curse me."

15:10. Woe is me, my mother, that thou hast borne me a man of strife and a man of contention to the whole earth! I have not lent, neither have men lent to me; yet every one of them doth curse me.

15:10. Woe is me, my mother, that you bore me, a man of strife and contention to the whole land! I have not lent, nor have I borrowed, yet all of them curse me.

15:10. Mother, I am sorry that you gave birth to me. I am the one who must accuse and criticize the whole land. I have not loaned or borrowed anything, but everyone curses me.
