50:3. ਉੱਤਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਇੱਕ ਕੌਮ ਚੜ੍ਹੀ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਰਾਨ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਨਾ ਵੱਸੇਗਾ। ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਡੰਗਰ ਤੀਕ ਖਿਸਕ ਕੇ ਚੱਲੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ

50:3. For a nation from the north will attack Babylon. It will lay her land waste. People and animals will flee out of it. No one will inhabit it.'
