3:1. ਖੂਨੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਾਇ ਹਾਇ! ਸਾਰੇ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਝੂਠ ਅਰ ਲੁੱਟ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ, ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਅਣਮੁੱਕ ਹੈ!

3:1. Woe to the city guilty of bloodshed! She is full of lies; she is filled with plunder; she has hoarded her spoil!

3:1. What sorrow awaits Nineveh, the city of murder and lies! She is crammed with wealth and is never without victims.

3:1. Woe to the bloody city! it is all full of lies and rapine; the prey departeth not.
