8:12. ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਤਮਾ ਥੀਂ ਹੌਉਕਾ ਭਰ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਇਸ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ? ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਤ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਭਈ ਇਸ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ

8:12. Sighing deeply in his spirit he said, "Why does this generation look for a sign? I tell you the truth, no sign will be given to this generation."

8:12. When he heard this, he sighed deeply in his spirit and said, "Why do these people keep demanding a miraculous sign? I tell you the truth, I will not give this generation any such sign."

8:12. And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation.

8:12. And he sighed deeply in his spirit and said, "Why does this generation seek a sign? Truly, I say to you, no sign will be given to this generation."

8:12. Jesus sighed deeply and said, "Why do you people ask to see a miracle as a sign? I want you to know that no miracle will be done to prove anything to you."

8:12. He sighed deeply in his spirit, and said, "Why does this generation seek a sign? Most assuredly I tell you, no sign will be given to this generation."
