6:49. ਪਰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨਦਾ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹ ਨੇ ਨੀਉਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਘਰ ਬਣਾਇਆਂ ਜਿਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਧਾਰ ਨੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਝੱਟ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਿਆ ਅਰ ਉਸ ਘਰ ਦਾ ਸੱਤਿਆ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।।

6:49. But the person who hears and does not put my words into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. When the river burst against that house, it collapsed immediately, and was utterly destroyed!"

6:49. But anyone who hears and doesn't obey is like a person who builds a house without a foundation. When the floods sweep down against that house, it will collapse into a heap of ruins."

6:49. But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that built a house upon the earth without a foundation; against which the stream brake, and straightway it fell in; and the ruin of that house was great.
