9:9. ਹੇਰੋਦੇਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਦਾ ਸਿਰ ਮੈਂ ਵਢਾ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ ਪਰ ਇਹ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ ਜਿਹ ਦੇ ਹੱਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਂ ਏਹੋ ਜੇਹੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ? ਅਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵੇਖਣ ਦੀ ਭਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ।।

9:9. Herod said, "I had John beheaded, but who is this about whom I hear such things?" So Herod wanted to learn about Jesus.
