8:40. ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਰ ਸੁੱਟਣ ਦੇ ਮਗਰ ਪਏ ਹੋ ਜੋ ਇਹਾ ਜਿਹਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਸੱਚੀ ਗੱਲ ਦੱਸੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਸੁਣੀ। ਇਹ ਤਾਂ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਨੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ

8:40. But now you are trying to kill me, a man who has told you the truth I heard from God. Abraham did not do this!

8:40. Instead, you are trying to kill me because I told you the truth, which I heard from God. Abraham never did such a thing.
