8:42. ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਜੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਨਿੱਕਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਇਆ ਹਾਂ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਆਪ ਤੋਂ ਆਪ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਇਆ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਘੱਲਿਆ

8:42. Jesus replied, "If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come from God and am now here. I have not come on my own initiative, but he sent me.
