13. ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, "ਦਾਨੀੇਲ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਵੱਲ ਕੋਈ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ। ਦਾਨੀੇਲ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਗੁਲਾਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਦਾਨੀੇਲ ਉਸ ਕਨੂੰਨ ਵੱਲ ਕੋਈ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਜਿਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਦਸਤਖਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਸਨ। ਦਾਨੀੇਲ ਹਾਲੇ ਵੀ ਹਰ ਰੋਜ਼ ਤਿੰਨ ਵਾਰੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।"
