36. ਅਤੇ ਓਨ ਆਖਿਆ, ਅੱਬਾ, ਹੇ ਪਿਤਾ, ਤੈਥੋਂ ਸੱਭੋ ਕੁਝ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪਿਆਲਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਹਟਾ ਦਿਹ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮੈਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੂੰ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈਂ

36. ਉਸਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ, “ਅਬ੍ਬਾ, ਹੇ ਪਿਤਾ, ਤੂੰ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈਂ। ਇਹ ਦੁਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਲਾ ਮੈਥੋਂ ਲੈ ਲਵੋ, ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਉਹ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਉਹੀ ਹੋਵੇ ਜੋ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਭਾਵੇ।”
